Folding boxes; contents, facilitating access to. -A folding cardboard or like box consists of two separate pieces, shown in Figs. 3 and 4 respectively, one of which constitutes the four sides a, a, b, b, while the other constitutes the top e<3>, bottom e<1>, and front and back strengthening-pieces e, e<2>. The second piece is threaded through slots d at the sides of flaps c on the ends b, and the flaps e<4>, e<5> serve to hold the parts together. A tab i is provided for raising the lid.
