9631. Riley, J. April 24. Moulding blocks &c.-In a rotary-table machine for making bricks, and blocks of concrete &c., a central standard c carries the press d which rams the material. into the moulds e. Cores h, used when hollow blocks are to be formed, are carried on rollers g running on a track f, of which one part is vertically reciprocable so that the cores may be drawn down out of the moulds. The sides of the moulds are pivoted so as to open out, and, if partition plates are used to divide the mould, recesses are formed in the face of the plunger so that it fits over the plates.
