Slicing meat.-Relates to meat-slicing machines of the kind described in Specifications Nos. 5567 and 25,857, A.D. 1898, No. 22,168, A.D. 1899, and No. 19,171, A.D. 1903. The meat plate 4 rests on the meat table 1 between flanges 2, 3, one 3 of which is formed as a separate piece and is yieldably mounted by springs and pins 6. The toothed arm 9, which engages with a screw 8 to advance the plate after each cut, is formed in piece with one of the handles 10 of the meat plate. The arm is rotatably mounted on a pin 11, and is pressed against the screw 8 by a spring 12.
