Folding-boxes.-Folding or collapsable boxes are made from blanks of paper, cardboard, leatherboard, &c., creased and cut as shown in Fig. 2. Fig. 1 shows the finished box. The parts B, C, D form the lid. bottom, and sides respectively. The extensions D', D<2> overlap and form the rear wall, the slot D' engaging the cut D<5>. The parts D<9>, D<10>, C' form the front wall of the box, the slots D<7>, D" engaging with the cuts C<3>, C<4>. The lid B is formed on an extension C', and is provided with flaps B<1>. The Provisional Specification states that the extension C' may carry a lid or part of a lid, adapted to engage by means of tongues and slits with the lid formed on the extension C<1>.
