Rotary machines; feeding sheets.-Relates to apparatus for printing paper bags or sheets, cardboards, &c. as they are received from other machines or otherwise. The pair of cylinders 1, 3 for printing the bags or sheets is driven by a pair of adjustable elliptical gears 4,5, so that the cylinders are driven at the time of printing at the same speed as the sheet is moving. Or the tapes conveying the sheets may be driven at the same speed as the cylinders. The sheet or bag 6 in the carrying or feeding tapes a is adjusted by pivoted stops b operated by the arm 10 and cam 7. The Provisional Specification states that the impression cylinder may be provided with a projecting longitudinal ridge or lay for engaging and registering the front edge of the sheet.
