Electric bells.-The core c of the magnet is made to serve as a support for the dome f, by screwing one end into a bridge-piece b over the armature g, and attaching the dome to the other end. The armature, contact-breaker, &c. are of the usual form, but the wires from the coil are connected to binding-screws under the dome, which are connected by metal strips with terminals outside, thus avoiding carrying the wires outside the dome. Two magnets may be used side by side, the dome being secured to the yoke piece at the top.
