Abstract

Electro - magnetic and m a g n e t i c switches. - The soft iron armature 5, Fig. 1, of a polarized relay is placed be. tween the projections 3, 4 of a soft iron piece 1 which is polarized by a magnet 2 and the winding is placed on a transverse core 7. In the modification shown in Fig. 5, the piece 1 is attached to the north pole of a magnet 13 and the armature is pivoted to the south pole. In a further modification the armature is pivoted at its mid point and both poles of the magnet 13 are provided with a piece 1.
