Abstract

189,788. Rotter, A. Nov. 28, 1921, [Convention date]. Thread-spooling machines.-In thread spooling machines of the kind wherein the thread guide is operated by an oscillating lever and its speed is varied in accordance with the thickness of the thread by adjusting a nut on a screw in the the lever, the lever 31 is operated by a rod 28 connected thereto by means consisting of a bolt which engages the nut. The lever 31 is graduated to facilitate adjustment of the nut and is fast on a shaft c, and the thread guide shaft 14 is operated by a lever 34 on the shaft c. The rod 28 is connected to a bracket 25 mounted on a shaft 13 carrying controlling levers 15, 16, which alternately engage with a right and left handed screw. The shaft 14 is adjustably connected to the thread guide 23 and is carried on a bracket 20, which slides on guides 19 and is connected to the lever 34 by a pin 36 and block 35.
