Eccentrics.-The throw of an eccentric 40, which controls the work feeding movements &c. of a sewing machine, is varied by a knurled nut situated at the outer end of the main driving shafts 5, which adjusts the eccentric frame with which the eccentric 40 is integral, with respect to a disc 43 secured upon the shaft 5. The adjustment may be effected by the engagement of the bevelled end of a screwed rod 102 which carries the knurled nut with one end of a screw 101 secured to the eccentric.
