Regulating.-A high-compression engine used for aeronautical purposes, is supplied with alcohol at starting and while on the ground, and with benzine when the engine is working at high altitudes. The fuels are supplied from a doublebodied carburettor with two float chambers, the flow being controlled by interlinked valves; a mixture of the two fuels may be used. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 185,449.
