Abstract

186,153. Larson, L. E. June 21, 1921. Razors.-The clamping-members of a holder for use in stropping a safety-razor blade are pivoted within a slot in the handle, and are operated by rotating a camshaped spindle carried within the handle. The cam-shaped spindle 33 is adapted to spread the lower portions of the clamping-members 14, 15, thereby causing the upper portions to clamp the blade. The clamping-members are provided with notches 21 which engage projections formed in the slot in the handle, and are held apart normally by spring clips 23 which are secured in position between the members. The movement of the spindle is limited by a projection 34 thereon, which engages in a recess in the handle.
