Abstract

185,050. Harding, A. S. Nov. 21, 1921. Lubricating-cans of the type in which the outlet valve is operated by pressure on the flexible bottom. A valve-cage 16 is secured in the spout 12 by a bead 12<a> pressed from the spout into a groove 16<a> in the cage 16. A valve-rod 19 passes through the cage 16 and carries a valve 20 which seats upon the end of the cage 16. The valve 20 has an integral guide 21 and is normally kept closed by a spring 22. A washer 15 of fibre &c. prevents leakage of oil from the can.
