Stoppers, screw.-In a closure for cans &c. comprising a screw cap b recessed at c and adapted to be screwed down on to a boss d<2> on a closing-disc d, this disc is provided with separated radial projections d' on its periphery adapted to engage and pass along the screw-threads when the disc is being introduced into the recess c. The disc may be actuated by engaging a depression e therein with a screwdriver. A leather or other washer f is provided.
