[Classes 18, 66 and 125 (iii)] To enable a container to be carried bv a handle on the lid, the flange of that part is formed with a peripheral groove b<2> in which a divided wire d is disposed, so that when the wire is tightened by operation of a toggle lever and link e acting on the free ends the contracted wire engages partly in a groove a in the body part, preventing removal of the lid. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 403,588 and 420,738.
