Screw stoppers formed to aid withdrawal. - In an internally threaded screw stopper for cans &c. and comprising a cap 3 having a part 7 of its top partially severed and pressed upwardly out of the plane of the main part, the part 7 is slotted at 8 to receive the back of a table knife 9 or the like to facilitate its removal. A metal disc is interposed between the usual packing disc and the cap to cover the opening left by the raised part 7.
