Abstract
Sulphonic-acids of 2 : 3 - oxynaphthoic arylides are obtained by sulphonating the parent arylides obtainable as described in Specifications 13237/13 and 23732/13; they can be used in the manufacture of dyestuffs. According to examples b -oxynaphthoic anilide is sulphonated with sulphuric acid of 66 DEG B<\>ae., and b -oxynahthoic 4-chlor-2-toluidide with sulphuric acid monohydrate.
