Cheese cutters.-A wire cutter for cheese and other plastic materials is formed with a vertical plate or guide slotted to allow the wire c<1> to pass, and the bow-shaped frame C has a, rearward extension c pivoted to a projection A<2> at the back of the baseboard A. The forward end of the frame c is adapted to enter an extension of the groove a which receives the wire; the tension of the wire may be adjusted by a nut c'. In a modification, the cutter-frame is pivoted to an arm which in turn is pivoted to the base-plate.
