Seat adjustments; rests, backs. - A metallic chair, with a back-rest mounted so as to adjust itself to the user's back, has a bowed strip of metal 8 detachably secured to side strips 5 on the beat by bolts and nuts 10, and is supported by side struts 11 held to the side strips by bolts and nuts 12. The strip 8 is bent to receive and to hold frictionally a back-rest 13 mounted on arms 15 pivoted to the strip 8 on pins 14. Specification 174,461 is referred to.
