Draught, regulating.-A check-draught damper device comprises a casing 4 of larger dimensions than the flue to which it is connected, in which casing the draught-operated damper 1 is suspended from a rocking-beam 3 having an adjust. able balance-weight 6. The casing shown is provided with three connections 11, 12, 14, for the flue, those not in use having covers 15. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 2 a partition wall 37 is provided, with which the damper 1 contacts in its lowest position. Fig. 3 shows a modification in which the casing 4 is arranged at one side of the flue connection 18 and is provided with a partition plate 19 having an opening for the flue gases controlled by a damper 31 connected to the damper 1. In another form a sliding-plate flue damper is suspended from the rocking-beam and may be adjusted in height by means of a screwed spindle.
