Gas cooking-stoves; draught, regulating.- The waste gases from internally or externally heated gas-ovens pass through a downward passage 16 to an outlet 17 connected to an upcast flue 17<A>, at, or adjacent to, the lower end of which is a checkdraught air-inlet 21 of smaller dimensions than the flue with or without a deflector 19 to direct the air up the flue. In a modification, the downward passage is formed externally of the oven by a flue having a U-bend. In the case of externally-heated oven, the gases enter the downward passage after rising between the double walls of the oven.
