Abstract

178,323. Mitchell, J. P. April 16, 1921. Folding boxes.-The ends of a collapsable box, in which the two sides are hinged to the bottom and the two ends are hinged to the sides, are prevented from outwardly bulging, and the hinges are relieved of load, by tongues 2, Fig. 2, provided on the ends, fitting into the slots 3 of brackets 4 projecting upwardly from the bottom of the box. The Provisional Specification describes a method for preventing inward bulging of the ends, the ends being of slightly greater height than the sides, and fitting into recesses in the lid.
