Abstract
472,226. Packages. MONTAGUE, E., BROWN, W. R., and STRATTON, W. March 13, 1936, No. 7607. [Class 94 (i)] In the packing of tin plates and the like, a stack is placed so that the bottom part is received in a tray like member, and a complementary cover member shown inverted and partly opened out in Fig. 1, is placed over the top, closed in on the stack, and secured by ties. The cover member comprises vertical walls a, d, g with corners j and having flaps f, h, i, secured to them. When the cover is placed over the stack, the flaps f overlie the flaps h, i, as seen from beneath in, Fig. 2, and the abutting edges b form a vertical joint which is covered by overlaps e inside and out.
