177,257. Dorer, P. O. Dec. 22, 1920. Vehicle lamps.- A vehicle lamp is provided with a pocket in one side to receive a licence. In one form, the circular pocket B in the side of the lamp casing A has screwed side walls to receive a cap D having a glass panel E through which the licence may be read. The back of the pocket may be closed by a panel C of opaque material, or transparent or translucent material may be used so that the light from the lamp may pass through the licence to enable it to be read at night. The part D may be attached by a bayonet-fastening instead of screw-threads, or it may be formed as a hinged cover.
