Delivery apparatus.-Sheets are delivered from printing-machines by means of grippers on two pairs of chains as s, t, and according to the invention the chains t are driven at a lower speed than the chains s, which are driven from, and at the same speed as, the grippers d of the impression cylinder a. The grippers d transfer the printed sheets to grippers x on the chains s, and while the chains s are moving in a vertical path, the sheet is transferred to grippers z on the chains t which are driven by reduction gearing from the shaft of the upper sprocket-wheels of the chains s. The grippers z deposit the sheets on a board h'.
