Abstract

Vehicle windows.-In motor-vehicle bodies provided with collapsable hoods carrying removable windows, as described in Specification 114,428, one of the window-supporting rods C is permanently attached to a valance H on the hood, and the second rod D is attached to a valance J and hinged to the valance H at K. The windows are attached to slides G on the rods and hang outside the body to exclude draughts &c. Fastenings such as press-buttons are provided on the windows. Before hinging on the axis K, the rod D must be given a rotation into the position shown in dotted lines in Fig. 4.
