The gears b, a. are secured to the shafts bl, a<1> respectively, and the planet carrier m is loose on the former. Worm-wheel e is stationary, and the worm f and friction roller i are both carried upon an arm d<1>, Fig. 2, of the carrier m. The disc j is secured to the shaft a<1>. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also arrangements in which the roller i is made radially movable to vary the velocity ratio. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted..
