Detachable-rim attachments to wheels. - Twin detachable rims d, e are secured between an off-set flanga a<1> on the fixed rim a and a coned flange c clamped in position by plates g on transverse bolts f, w i t h a spacing wedge-ring b.. To ensure a positiva drive between the fixed and detachable rims, the ring b is notched to engage keys a<2> on the rim a and is formed with forked lugs b<3> to embrace bosses e<1> on the rims d, e. In the construction shown, the valve-stems e<2> pass through the bosses e<1>. The flange c may be removed to free the rims d, e by loosening the nuts f<1> and turning the plates g clear of the flange. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes also a single detachablerim device. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
