Tyre attachments to rims.-The detachable side flange 9 is stepped at 9<a> to form a butt joint with the overhanging edge 6 of the fixed. rim portion 4, and is secured by transverse bolts 12 and nuts 13. The bolts are squared under the heads to engage washers 4 on the side face of the felloe 2, the nuts being shouldered at 15 to enter recesses in the flange 10 of the rim portion 9.
