Tyre attachments to rims. - To prevent creeping, the edges of the tyre cover c engage teeth e on a short metal plate d which is adapted to be clamped to the rim by means of the valvestem. Similar plates may also be fitted under the heads of the security-bolts. The plates may be formed with more than two rows of teeth, but in all cases the centre portion of the plate is left plain.
