As shown, a driving-shaft A, carry. ing the driving clutch disc B, is aligned with the helix shaft D tc which is slidablv keved the driven clutch disc C. An arm E', pivoted at E, is acted upon by a spring G tending tc move the disc C intc engagement with the disc B, but is rocked against the action of the spring by adjustable cams R on a disc P geared to the shaft A, which cams engage a tooth L on a branch E<2>.
