Abstract

169,703. Goldschmidt Akt.-Ges., T. Oct. 1, 1920, [Convention date]. Alloys for use as bearing metals contain about 70-75 per cent of lead, 15-25 per cent of antimony, 3-6 per cent of tin, 1-3 per cent of nickel, and 0.6-1.5 per cent of copper which may be introduced in the form of 0.8-2.2 per cent of copper phosphide. The phosphorus may be wholly or partly replaced by arsenic. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) refers also to the addition of cobalt in place of or in addition to nickel. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
