Abstract
295,265. Goldschmidt Akt.-Ges., T. Feb. 25, 1926, [Convention date]. Divided on 266,696. Alloys.-Aluminium alloys suitable for use as bearing metals are made by adding to aluminium first one or more of the metals calcium, barium. strontium, and beryllium, and afterwards one or more of the elements titanium, vanadium, molybdenum, tungsten, chromium, iron, manganese, and boron. There may also be present one or more oi the following :-magnesium, zinc, copper, cobalt nickel, cerium, silicon, lithium, silicide, and magnesium silicide. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) any of the substances magnesium, zinc, coper, lithium, beryllium, lithium silicide, magnesium silicide, silicon, cobalt, nickel, cerium, calcium, barium, and strontium may be added to the aluminium first, followed by any of the elements titanium, vanadium, molybdenum, tungsten, chromium, iron, manganese, and boron. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
