Precipitating. - Copper is precipitated from solutions by means of copper alloys containing a considerable proportion of zinc, for example brass scrap. The alloys may be used for precipitating copper from solutions containing copper and zinc, thereby enriching the solution in zinc which may subsequently be precipitated, for example electrolytically. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) refers also to the use of alloys of copper' with other metals, for example lead. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
