Show cases.-A show case for use on a counter is formed with glass panels a<1> - - a<4> and is mounted on legs e at a height above the counter such that a sliding panel a<1> may be slid downwards till its upper edge is on a level with the floor of the case. The sliding panel is counterbalanced by weights g and springs j are provided to cushion the downward movement of the panel and assist its return.
