Abstract

The display cabinet for jewellery has two vertical facing transparent panels assembled by means of two rectangular frames, one of which covers the top half and the other the lower half. The first frame is a compartment with a horizontal sliding display shelf. The second frame is a compartment containing lighting, an alarm and closure system. The front and back of the cabinet can be closed by a rigid sliding, transparent curtains which are electrically driven. Rotating rollers push the curtains against the inner surface of the upper compartment.
