Double and multiple hinges. -A table flap g is hinged to a vertical frame c by two pairs of links h, i of such length and disposition that when the flap hangs downwards the links are substantially parallel and when the flap is horizontal, the links form a strutted bracket. The vertical frame c is mounted to slide vertically on a bedside cabinet a, or on a tea-wagon, desk, or other article of furniture, and can be secured at various heights by means of a pawl e and a perforated plate f.
