Abstract
477,051. Desks for office machines. ANGUS & CO., Ltd., W., and NICHOLS, C. J. June 27, 1936, No. 17914. [Class 52 (iii)] A rising and falling platform 29 moves in vertical guides 25 and is connected to a vertically moving counterweight 35 preferably through a gearwheel 38 meshing with racks on the moving parts. The desk top 16 is hinged to the counterweight frame and when in the vertical position supplements, or may itself form, the counterweight. A hinged front panel 41 is displaced inwardly as the platform rises.
