Abstract

166,062. Mowe, E. Sept. 10, 1920. Hair-cutting appliances of safety-razor type, comprising a razor blade held to a comb by a spring clip. The blade B has a. thickened back portion D forming a longitudinal shoulder parallel with the cutting-edge, and the spring clip G overlaps this shoulder to form a stop positioning the blade relatively to the teeth of the comb A. The spring clip is of curvilinear shape and has a pair of opening fans C, C<1>, the jaw C abutting against the inside surface of the clip and the jaw C<1>, when the blade is removed, abutting against the opposing edge of the clip. The blade is passed lengthways between the edge of the clip and the jaw C<1>.
