Abstract

Razors; hair-cutting appliances of the safetyrazor type.-A combined safety-razor and hairtrimmer comprises a guard-plate e formed at one edge with teeth f of the usual relatively close spacing, and at the other edge with more widelyspaced teeth g. The guard-plate is formed with elongated transverse apertures j, j<1> engaging the usual clamping and positioning pins c, b, upon which it is adjustable transversely of the blade; by this means, the device mav be adjusted to give either a fine or coarse shave, or, as shown in Fig. 4, for fine and close trimming of the hair. The teeth f are bent slightly out of the plane of the guard-plate.
