Rolling-machines.-In roller-sheeting machines the plastic material is prevented from working out at the ends of the rollers by means of end plates 17 which are mounted on the shaft 14 of one of the rollers 13. The end plates are preferably concentric with, and have a considerably larger diameter than, the roller, and are spring-pressed into contact with the ends of the rollers. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 13465/04, [Class 59, Grinding, crushing, &c.], 8664/15, 18130/15, 104,720, and 143,070.
