Abstract

160,378. Kr³ger, J. [Firm of], and Kr³ger, J. J. May 13, 1920. Air-pressure sprayers. - Air is driven by a fan 9, Fig. 1, through a casing 8 into contact with a liquid sprayed from a nozzle 2, Figs. 1 and 3, by air under pressure from a pipe 3. The pipe 3 may be turned on a pivot 4 and may be raised or lowered by moving a bracket 7 so as to alter the inclination of the liquid and air nozzles. The liquid nozzle 2 has a fitting 15, which catches overflowing drops of liquid and returns them by passages 16 to the liquid tank 10. The air nozzle 14 is flattened out at its extremity as shown in Fig. 4.
