Abstract

176,424. Andrew, T. Oct. 22, 1920. Air-pressure sprayers. -A liquid-sprayer comprises nozzles a, b, Fig. 2, swivelling through a complete circle about coaxial liquid and air pipes c, d, respectively. The liquid-nozzle a has a reservoir f with a filter g, and the air-nozzle b, carried by a bracket h on the reservoir f, has an air inlet i. A filter may be arranged within the bracket h around the airnozzle. The flanges k, n allow adjustment of the air-nozzle and may bear upon spherical surfaces on the bracket h. Fig. 3 shows a modification in which the air-nozzle b is below the liquid-nozzle a, and a compartment o serves as an air-filter. The liquid and compressed-air pipes fit in connections p, q respectively.
