Abstract

324,147. Elliot, G. Nov. 1, 1928. Air-pressure sprayers.-An atomizer comprises a liquid receptacle 1, Fig. 1, into which dips a tube 29 on which a nozzle 31 is adjustably mounted and locked by a nut 33. Above the nozzle 31 is mounted an air nozzle 24 also adjustably mounted on an air tube 20 and locked by a nut 23, air being supplied by a tube 4 mounted in a handle 14, and controlled by a valve 34 operated by a finger piece 39 against the action of a spring 38. Extension pieces 40, 41, Fig. 3, may be screwed on the pipe 20, 29 to vary the direction of the spray. The air and liquid pipes may be mounted on a strip 3 attached to the cover 2 and the handle may have a U-shaped stand attached thereto.
