Abstract

362,592. Windscreen wipers. SMITH, G. G., 16, East Parade, Harrogate. Oct. 13, 1930, No. 30519. [Class 138 (i).] A spraying apparatus for windscreen wipers comprises a perforated spray pipe 1, Fig. 2, connected to a liquid container 4 operated by a hand bulb 6. In a modification, Fig. 3, the bulb 6 is placed between the liquid supply and the spray pipe. In his case, non-return valves 14, 15 are necessary. Instead of a bulb, any suitable manual air pump might be used. Also, instead of a perforated spray pipe, a split pipe may be used, or a fan-shaped nozzle 13, Fig. 5, with a narrow outlet. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 137,697, 285,680, [both in Class 138 (i), Washing and cleaning buildings &c.], and 344,201.
