Abstract

480,838. Apparatus for washing windows, shop fronts, carriages, &c. LAWTON, J. W. Oct. 19, 1937, No. 13081. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Nov. 9, 1937.] [Class 19] A frame F adapted to receive a detachable slide S carrying a brush, mop, sponge or other implement, is formed with a hollow perforated portion Z for the projection of water or other liquid on to the surface being cleaned. The liquid is supplied through a tube T which is connected to a pail or tank and is provided with a bulb B associated with an inlet valve and an outlet valve, so that liquid can be drawn up the tube and forced out through the perforations P. A curved strip W prevents the tube T from kinking. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also an arrangement employing a plunger instead of a bulb for forcing up liquid. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
