Abstract

457,216. Cleaning appliances. VOXSAN, Ltd., and STRANGE, L. H., 22, Napier Road, West Ham, London. Aug. 12, 1935, No. 22700. [Class 138 (i)] A cleaning-appliance for use in cleaning floors and walls of swimming pools and like structures comprises a reservoir 11 for cleansing fluid coupled by a flexible pipe 18 to a spray device mounted on a trolley 20, means being provided for the attachment of a cord 22 or a handle (not shown) to the trolley. The handle fits in a socket 23. The spray device comprises a nozzle 19 with a curved outlet 24. An air pump 15 may be provided to place the liquid under pressure in the reservoir 11. Holes 25 are provided on the trolley for the insertion of lead weights. A protective housing 13 for the reservoir may be adapted to serve as a carrier for the trolley when not in use.
