Abstract

160,345. Sturch, H. A. Feb. 7, 1920. Bushes; materials, special.-Joints for linkwork are provided with bushes F, K, composed of non- metallic material such as raw hide, dressed leather, bonded asbestos, compressed felt, fibre, and materials sold under the Trade Marks " Ferodo " or " Driped." Holes for lubricant may be provided in the bushings and in the pin C. The materials used may also be impregnated with lubricant such as wax, graphite, grease &c., or a ring of compressed graphite may be inserted between the members of the joint and the bushes.
