Tentering. - A stentering-clip of the type comprising a fixed jaw h and a movable one g on the extremity of an arm a is constructed so that the arm a may be readily removed for regrinding the flutes on the jaw g, and so as to ensure parallelism between the jaws when the upper one is replaced. A hardened metal bush b with coned ends in the arm a is mounted on the conical ends 2 of the screws f, f', so that wear of the pivotal surfaces can be taken up by adjustment of the screw f<1>. The bush may be mounted on plain studs f<2>, f<3>, secured by a setscrew n, a taking-up screw k, and a pin m taking into a keyway in the stud f<3>.
