Casings.-Fitting the sides of a casing a having a tangential discharge pipe integral therewith are rings b, c, the flanges b<1>, c<1> of which are shaped to take into and fit either edge of the casing a. The ring c is integral with the fixing-bracket d, the fan-shaft bearing e being connected thereto by radial arms or webs f. The rings are secured together by bolts g, Fig. 8, having collars or flanges g<1> and nuts h. By this means the casing a may be adjusted in any desired position with respect to the bracket d.
