Abstract

Tools; tool-holders.-A hollow circular cutter is formed of conical exterior formation b and coned interior formation c to give the cutting angle and relief, and is constantly rotated as it is traversed along the work. The cutter may be double-ended, and may be rotated by hand through worm gearing. To enable the cutting- edge to be adjusted to suitable cutting-angles, the cutter is mounted on a vertical spindle f in a. bracket j, Fig. 5, which is pivotally mounted on a second bracket k<1> adjustable about an axis n at right-angles to the pivoting axis of the former bracket.
